• “A pilot is rarely on a perfect course, but is constantly making small corretions back to the planned course. The key is to have a commitment to the mission, clarity on where you are going, and on the way, detecting deviations early so corrections will become only small adjustments.”

    Lamar Smith

Keep in mind, your plan is a work in progress that will evolve over a lifetime and require midcourse corrections. If you are like most people, your original plan may be too aggressive.
    A MARATHON, NOT A SPRINT

Remember this is a marathon not a sprint, and you don’t train for a marathon in a week. Likewise, Improving Your Balance and achieving Balanced Living takes time, but there is no better investment you can make.

Build in re-evaluation and correction to your schedule. Ask yourself each week: “How am I doing in each of the 5 Key Areas?” If you’re falling behind, rededicate yourself to your action steps in that part of your plan. Perfection is the enemy of progress. Celebrate progress.
    ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Don’t quit, and don’t forget to reward yourself along the way of living a balanced life . . . Life is for living, not for being a robot. Enjoy your accomplishments, get back up and start over when you fall short, and never forget Improving Your Balance and achieving Balanced Living is worth the effort.
